WATER Is a very serious ingredient in making our creams, get it wrong and your creams will explode with bacteria. We don't use chemicals to keep bacteria out of our creams and it can be very hit and miss using litmus paper testing. Our skin ph is slightly acidic and you can cause skin reactions if creams are too alkaline. So I have invested heavily in a water ionizer to insure a even ph for my herbal infusions, and indeed a high ph water for sterilizing our equipment to keep bacteria out.

No matter our age, the very best investment you can make for your skin is a good night's sleep every night xx

FARM TOUR Had a fabulous farm tour here today. So what do you do with 21 pairs of hands and feet, put them to work of course, so we dug up the comfrey today, thanx for all your help today xx We make our gardeners hand cream from the comfrey root by making a apple cider vinegar Tincture.

RECYCLING MY awesome eco friendly customers ask what to do with our funky metal containers? Over the years i have had many messages of what people use them for so here are a few suggestions, i also can send through caps for the ones that need them Use them to bottle -Kiefer water -Kombucha... - drinking water bottles
Dispersing bulk bought - dishwashing liquid - clothes washing - hand washing liquid - shampoo - conditioner - paint
I love this one "Hi kay, my local preschool are using your metal bottles with the pumps to disperse paint in for the kiddies"
Of course you need to wash them out really well to ensure all the essential oils are out, a great way is after washing to boil them for about 10 min in water with lemon juice or vinegar xx
