Just returned from spending 3 nights there. A basic, outdated room that still cost as much as a tropical holiday overseas. Points for trying with the decor but it's as though they gave up half way through. I also had a room near the elevators which I would strongly urge against unless you want to be kept all night and then an early wake up call in the morning. One redeeming feature is the very comfy bed!

Then comes the restaurant on the ground floor - nice food but overpriced and the waitress working the evening of Sat October 7 was rude and made us feel like we were putting her out the whole time.

The cherry on top of my trip though was leaving my phone charger in my room (i know, I'm an idiot). This has been a saga. I thought it would be easy to be able to get it left with my friends who were still staying in the hotel. Not only did reception not pass on my original message to housekeeping to do this but now, 3 days later, it's magically disappeared. Not only can they not even find it (it was plugged into the wall - I'm not playing hide and seek with them) it's not in lost property either.



All in all it seems like there's a lot of choices in Wollongong to stay, so stay somewhere else.
