About Samgata Essentials

Natural Handmade Soap
100% Cold Pressed

Have you noticed how, after using many supermarket soaps, your skin feels tight and itchy? Some people find that after a while their eczema or psoriasis has flared up again and have come to the conclusion that all soap is not for them. Before jumping to this conclusion like to challenge people to try “real soap”. One made with good quality oils. Commercially made real soap is produced in large vats using a process very similar to that used by hand crafters, but they us single, cheap oils such as Palm Oil or Tallow. We use “No Palm Oils”. Many label palm oil as vegetable oil rather than declaring the oil used, making it sound much more glamorous than it is. Some “soap” is not soap al all. Syndetic is a name often used – Synthetic detergent.
The greatest problem with many commercial soaps is the extraction of glycerin from the finished product. Handmade soap does not remove this. Saponification of oil naturally produces glycerin in a soap bar – up to a massive 10% of it. In many commercial production facilities salt is added to the mixture to which causes soap to rise to the top, and the glycerin to sink to the bottom, to be extracted for use in other products. This allows their bar to be harder but much less moisturizing than a bar with glycerin left in it. Glycerin is one ingredient you definitely want in your soap. It is humectant (retains & preserves moisture). When better to apply such a product than when you are surrounded by moisture like in the shower?
Natural handmade soap can be taken to the next level with the addition of goat’s milk; goats milk is a very popular addition to handmade soap as it takes creamy moisturizing qualities to that next higher level.
“Real Soap” cannot be melted – Cold Pressed in the highest quality of real soap today. Melt & Pour Soaps are melted and the quality is much less though can make them look much more fancier than cold pressed soaps & more attractive to the eye though half the benefits.
