Sanctuary Hotel

I've been there for a private function. The room is nice and I loved the food.

Good place. Gets too crowded on Friday and Saturday nights

Food always good here, great atmosphere.

We have a team meeting at this place once every two months or so, meaning I've been there quite a few times. I must say the food is absolutely amazing - they're always adjusting the menu, making it better and better! I never know what to pick, excellent all around.

Staff asked security to ask a member of your group that wasnt drinking, to not sleep, (had closed his eyes) party member apologies, and then minutes later the same staff member stumbles over and has a one sided conversation about cutting him off alcohol, responsibility of service. Our friend replies, I can't drink, I'm driving later, and the staff member ignores this, trips over on a chair and goes deeper into how our friend must be drunk, when if anyone else was stumbling around at a bar like this guy was, he'd be locked out.

This place isn't friendly or welcoming anymore.

Cheapest long island in sydney. Full of trendy asian girls and guys. Great place to hangoyt

Good bar food. If you can avoid a busy night, the vibe is pretty nice and chill.

Overall I love the place. Drinks are great and reasonable and to me it gives a nice vibe.

Recently however. The security seems a little bias. Got kicked out because the security guard pointed me and my mates out for no reason!!
Granted it was a busy time but the people around us were much more worse swearing on the top of their lungs and throwing ice but we get pointed out.

Don't ususally write bad reviews but this incident (being one of many) is just the final straw!

ok, handle a large team function well. drink are a bit expensive. nothing overly exciting

We came to the sanctuary hotel for lunch. I got the steak which was on special for 11.95 which is pretty good value. You definitely pay for what you get. The steak wasn't anything that special but I guess it was a cheap meal so it's ok. The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly

We went on a Tuesday evening so it wasn't too busy but it would be easy to see this place filled on the weekend.

There is decent value and both of our meals were enjoyable. We each had a different type of steak and while they were cooked properly and the portions were good, they were lacking a bit in the seasoning department. If you're getting the steak, best to add on a sauce for a couple/few bucks.

As a traveller, the experience is a bit unique. You go up to the bar and place your order and after they ring you through you get a beeper. Once the beeper goes off you pick up your food/utensils/condiments. The food came fast (less than 10 minutes) and it was a nice experience overall.
