We believe that play is essential on the lives of young children.
We believe that children learn and develop through being active, invested participants in their world and lives.
We believe that children need opportunities to play, prepared environments for them to explore and responsive educators to support their learning.
We believe that through play, children explore and discover and make sense of the world. Through play, children constantly add to their existing life experience to create new knowledge and skill.

We believe the environment plays an important role in children’s learning and development. We endeavor to create spaces for children that are flexible and responsive to the interests and abilities of each child.
We believe in an environment that offers children an array of possibilities, to take risks, explore, discover and connect with nature. The educators at Sandcastles will work with the children to foster an appreciation of the natural environment, sustainability and healthy living.
We believe in an equitable environment where each child has plenty of room to develop and grow. We will strive to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, where they can learn and develop initiative, dignity and confidence.
We aim to develop a stimulating environment where children learn to love and cherish.
