Today was day 1 of the challenge and as the Sports Centre opened it’s doors a 6am, member Anthony Baldwin jumped on the bike with the intention of completing the entire 333km of the challenge (10% of the Tour’s actual distance) in one day! Just over 11 hours later and with some sciatic discomfort, Anthony crossed the finish line at 17:11, a Sandhurst first! Massive congratulations!

Swing Fit is a fun, healthy and social way for women to learn and develop golf skills, combining yoga and pilates movements. It will increase your range of movement and flexibility, improve body conditioning and provide a low intensity cardiovascular workout, guided by our PGA Trainee & Fitness Professional Corinna Bryant.
No golf experience is needed, wear comfortable work out clothes, all equipment is provided and the program is designed so you can physically push yourself ...as much or as little as you please. Then join our golf ladies for a drink or lunch after your class.
If there is enough support and interest for Swing Fit, it will be rolled out into a six week program.
This trial session is complimentary but please register your interest on our website. Meet at the Sports Centre at 10:50am.
This is event is presented as part of Women’s Golf Day. Women’s Golf Day is a one day event celebrating girls and women playing golf and learning the skills that last a lifetime. This is Sandhurst’s first time celebrating the day and we’re inviting any women who have ever been curious about golf to participate!
