Hello there, I’m Sarah. A qualified naturopath and food enthusiast. I love food — making it, eating it, sharing it, talking about it, researching it and, of course, writing about it.

The food as medicine philosophy is a major component of my naturopathic practice. I believe that healthy eating is about ensuring that the food you eat is well-balanced and nourishing, and most importantly deliciously enjoyable. In my clinic, I also use herbal medicines and nutritional supplements — prescriptions are individualised to give you a little extra support on your health and wellness adventure.

My other passion is learning. I am constantly scouting journal databases for the latest clinical research on health, nutrition and herbal medicine, which I incorporate into my clinical practice to provide you with effective treatment strategies.

I am a degree qualified naturopath and a registered practising member of the National Herbalists Association of Australia. I have a particular interest in the management of allergies (food and environmental), asthma, general immune health, digestive complaints, fatigue and thyroid conditions. I am currently practising on Sydney’s Northern Beaches in Brookvale at Total Health Brookvale clinic.
