My name is Sara. I am a Diploma trained early childhood educator, who has worked in the child care industry for the better part of a decade.

I have found working with children across a variety of ages and needs to not only be very rewarding but also incredibly enjoyable.

My past employment and training, as well as being a mother myself, has provided me with the necessary skill set required to provide responsible care for the children as well as offering a fun environment for children to enjoy and thrive in.

My social and friendly nature allows me to connect with the children and their parents and I find this relationship to be extremely important as it allows all parties involved to develop a level of comfort and trust which is in the best interest of the child.

Young children have enormous potential for growth and achievement. It is in their early years where exposure to a range of experiences and interacting with their families, peers and educators plays a significant role in helping to mould their early learning. I do not compromise on child safety and this is always paramount in my strategies.

As their educator I aim to create a fun filled, caring, playful multicultural and interesting environment to ensure the children feel comfortable also have a fun learning experience.

I will also have a volunteer, Raja Choker, who will assist most days. Raja has a 10year background in welfare as well as 35years experience with children. She is also a grandmother who has very valuable experience working with children.

As I would like to expose the children to the local community, we will often visit local places of interest such as the local library, parks as well as local kindy gyms.

These excursions will also focus on developing various learning outcomes. Having an assistant during these times will also ensure the safety of all the children and also enable a more interactive hand on time.
