History

Formed in 2008 as the result of a need for alternate entertainment solutions requested by Sydney's high profile venues, Sax And The Beat manifested and has developed as one of Sydney's most popular music and dance entertainment performing groups.

Each member of SATB were already well established successful solo performers and had developed individual reputations. They all had a desire to expand their successful repertoires to a new level. It was this thought that brought them together to form the trio - Sax And The Beat. As a trio they developed an infectious impromptu-multi-dimensional sound that needs to be heard to be appreciated.

The trio hit the ground running, with their infectious sound and performances, winning the hearts and minds of venue owners and satisfied customers alike. They quickly expanded to corporate gigs and other events and developed an unquestionable reputation as a versatile entertainment solution.

Sax And The Beat soon started filling gaps in the Wedding entertainment market and high class venues that didn't necessarily want the expense or complication of a traditional full piece band but rather preferred a smaller yet more dynamic, adaptable group that still captures and delivers that live band sound and feel.
