"Diversity is a fact. Inclusion is a choice. " - Justin TrudeauThe SBS Inclusion Program has been created to build inclusion in organisations and improve outcomes for all members of society. It does this through enabling organisations to benefit from diversity, meet accreditation requirements, strengthen their social licence to operate, and better understand and respect the communities they serve. The SBS Inclusion program is eight online courses designed to build capability in organisations around inclusion. Each course is highly engaging and features real stories, leading research made accessible, activities and practical information. The Core Inclusion course focuses on core inclusion skills and knowledge which can apply to any type of diversity – things like unconscious bias, assumptions, curiosity, intersectionality and flexibility. Six courses provide skills and knowledge around a specific diversity dimension – Generational Diversity, Gender Equity, Disability, First Nations, Cultural Diversity, and LGBTIQ + . The Appropriate Workplace Behaviour course has been created as a short course to meet legal obligations around discrimination under the Fair Work Act. It is a more engaging and up to date version of the traditional Equal Employment Opportunity courses typically delivered as mandatory training. Each course is available as training modules able to be uploaded into an organisation's Learning Management System, as individual courses able to be accessed online or even as individual elements able to adapted by clients. Content can be licensed on an annual basis and is priced to enable all members of a team to be trained.
