Scenario-Based Learning Program For Preservice Teachers (Unsw/ Tsp)

Our research group consists of researchers from UNSW and the Teacher Selection Project and the research is supported by a UNSW Scientia PhD Scholarship. The aim of the project is to investigate the impact of an online scenario-based learning program on aspects of preservice teachers' professional identity. Our goal is to help preservice teachers feel more confident and prepared to enter the classroom. The scenario-based learning program enables preservice teachers to reflect on a range of realistic school-based scenarios in a low-risk and supportive environment while receiving real-time feedback from experienced educators. The program contains four online modules focused on various aspects of teaching and will be available in early 2023.
