Scouts Australia Nsw Air Activity Centre

The Scouts NSW Air Activity Centre has been providing Cubs, Scouts, Guides and Venturers with flying experiences at Camden since 1972.

The Scouts Australia NSW Air Activity Centre, flew for the first time in 1972 with only a two seater Aircraft operating from a tent. Based at Camden Airport, the Centre now has a modern fleet of 4 Cessna 172 Aircraft with ‘State of the Art’ facilities.

It is the only centre of its kind in the country and since inception has introduced over 50, 000 youth members to aviation. The Volunteer staff at the Air Activity Centre run courses tailored to each age group that allow all members to experience aviation in a fun, interactive and safe environment.

It is also possible learn to fly with us as we have a partnership with Phoenix Flying School enabling Venturers, Rovers, Guides, Leaders and Parents achieve their dream and learn to fly.
