This year marks the 25th anniversary of Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department. One of the more than 160 productions supported by the Department, The Warriors – released last year – follows two young Indigenous players, Zane and Maki, who are plucked from their modest lives to play in the big leagues. The boys pack up and move interstate to busy Melbourne where their lives are turned upside down...
