Sea Breeze Family Daycare

Sea Breeze Family Daycare is a home based childcare environment registered with Northern Rivers Family Day Care.

My name is Rebecca and I am the owner /operator of Sea Breeze Family Daycare. I have my Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, Diploma, Cert 111 in Children's Services, First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check. I have over 15 years experience educating and working with children of all ages. After starting my family and finishing at number four I thought the best way to provide care for my young family and make an income was to set up a home based childcare environment. I have now been operating for six years. I have a set up a little bit different from most where I have been lucky enough to provide a set up in a compete separate part of my home total dedicated to my kindy. My set up is on the bottom level of my home where I have my own entrance, a beautiful cosy inside environment and a natural outdoor environment for the children to explore, learn and experiment in. I have a variety of play based experiences available every day which are chosen from the children's current interests and ideas. The children can choose freely to participate in as many or as few of the experiences as they would like. Another unique opportunity I provide is; my husband is also a registered educator with all of his qualifications, so at times providing an extra helping hand. This means a two adult to four children ratio will be provided. He is also my relief educator. I also provide opportunities for children to gather in a whole group setting where age appropriate learning is done through class discussions, music and story telling. I provide morning tea, afternoon tea, drinks and bedding. I am registered with Northern Rivers Family Day Care and CCB and CCR can be arranged through Centrelink.
