Meet Dr Lauren Durkin Lauren completed her psychology degrees and training in the United States and has been working clinically in Australia since 2009. Over her career, she has specialised in working with children, adolescents, and families with a range of mental health and general life issues, including developmental, emotional, behavioural, attachment-based difficulties, and coping with life transitions.
Lauren has received intensive training from the Selective Mutism Cli...nic in the techniques used for Selective Mutism in preschoolers to high school children. In addition to providing treatment for Selective Mutism, Lauren provides treatment for a range of conditions in children and adolescents including anxiety (generalised anxiety, OCD, panic, PTSD, selective mutism, separation anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias), ADHD, behaviour problems, family issues, mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), and parenting.
