service offered in Port Macquarie. We are here to help your child reach their potential!

The primary goal of Sensory Smart Occupational Therapy is to enable children to participate in all aspects of their activities of everyday life. Many aspects of daily life for children include eating, sleeping, feeding, growing, playing, school, socialising with peers, learning and many more. Some children experience difficulties with learning these skills or with becoming independent at doing them - this is where we can help you. Occupational Therapists (OT’s) are master craftsmen at breaking skills into simple steps and training children to do them. In addition, OT’s can help you prioritise your child’s learning into manageable and age appropriate goals.

At Sensory Smart OT we love seeing people being able to do something they did not think they could do before and we are inspired by finding solutions to difficult problems. We are motivated to find answers that will make a difference, when it looks like there is no answer.
It is fulfilling to know that we can play a part in so many people’s lives and have the daily blessing of being involved in the most precious parts of people’s lives – their children!
Our main goal is to have fun in all that we do while assisting children to learn, and we do have a lot of fun!
