Wasted two hours there, couldn't believe government department unable to take efpos payments, cash only. A government,that wants to get rid of 100 Dollar notes, supposedly only used by drug dealers and Tax Cheats. Would it be wrong to assume all the cash transactions made on the day were made with undeclared income

Staff are generally helpful and know what they're doing. Pick a quiet time otherwise the wait can be long.
If the weather is hot you may want to go another time, the air conditioning isn't sufficient for that type of buulding.

Absolutely disgusting!
Needed a birth certificate pretty urgent for a passport.. The lady said we could get it on the spot if we drove to Sydney (3:30 in the afternoon, we wouldn't have made it in time) but offered to do it priority. The last words that came out of this ladies mouth was "yes no problem you have put down the $78 for priority it should be here within 4 working days". Nearly a week and a half later we go into nsw services yet again to see what was going on as it still hasn't arrived and she didn't put it through as priority and took no responsibility. I then had to drive to Sydney and pay once again for one on the spot. No apology no nothing!
Even the Sydney births deaths and marriages pointed out how much I had been stuffed around so no exaggeration necessary! Do NOT recommend going to nsw services warrawong!!

Get this I was told I could not do my P's cause I was exactly 6 min late. Even though they allow for 15 min gap. Lol

Vast improvement over the old Rms office. Short waits, friendly and helpful staff, bright and clean space. The only downside is I was so used the the old Rms after spending days sitting in there I kind of miss it.

I registered my car online and 5 days later I get pulled over by the police and fined for being unregistered. I showed proof of payment. I disputed the fine but the RTA only gave me a computer generated response as a letter, not taking any responsibility for their stuff up. I had to register the car twice so I could drive it. Finally, three months later, after many phone calls they reimbursed my first payment. Service NSW are forcing me to pay the fine, over $700, plus outgrageous fees. They are a bunch of morons!

Very bad driving instructor @Joshua has failed me 2 time for my driving test !

First one was explainable but the second time everything was done right soon as i got back to tuggerah service center i was already over the pedestrian crossing and people walked behind the car and he failed me !!!!

It may be 23km's from the peninsular to this joint but, at least there's parking and a Subway next door. The Gosford Service One should be moved or closed as 4 parking spaces is ridiculous. Bring back Woy Woy RTA/Service One or what ever you want to call it.

I knew something would go wrong with my form lodgement and it did. Nowhere on the form does it state that my wife(the person applying for the disability permit)needs to be at the outlet for a photo.Nor does the form state that if this is not possible, you need a letter from the doctor stating that for whatever reason, this isn't possible. So if you have this letter from the doctor, they must then use the photo on file for the picture on the temporary licence.Their forms are very ambiguous definitely need tweeking. The lady tried to tell me that the "representative" on the form was the doctor. How can that be when they mention the representative and the doctor in the same sentence. And if you are sick and immuno comprimised, do you think they would serve you first? Not likely....

Well where do I start...
1- you need to have a number that goes straight to the rta, this automatic service is very frustrating.
I waited the whole day for a phone call back, not only did I wait on the phone for an hour nor did I get a call back.
2-yes there is a website, but how exactly are we meant to know what we are doing, hence the reason why you workers should know what you are doing (because that is you're job) yes you don't know everything, but something would be better than nothing.!
Not only waiting two days to get in contact, I get the rudest person on the planet that doesn't want help anyone but himself, please step up you're game! & train you're employees better please ! We call for help and do not receive it.

Comfortable seating, wifi, and not too long to wait. Some of the people who help when you first go in aren't as knowledgeable as they should be. A few times now they've had me line up and fill out forms for things I didn't need to, but they were pretty minor issues.

Worst service ever! Went there to have Driving Knowledge Test. I have my (Australian Resident) medicare card, photo id, original driving license from my country and still the lady that served me was saying that all the documents are not completed. She said I need to see your passport. The thing that made me irritated was the lady next to her didn't even asked for a passport from the customer next to me. Moreover, after went home to get my passport and came back to see that lady. She was disappeared in the middle of serving me. I was waiting for 10 minutes and she was hanging me like that. Than she came back said sorry without even telling me the reason of her disappearing. Please, I paid for my Driving Knowledge Test to get the service not to witness poor and inconsistent service.

If you want to feel like a number rather than a customer...this is the place to be. Staff are not trained to think on their feet & are virtually machines themselves. When their payment systems went down the other day they were all in a flurry amongst themselves & were oblivious to any questions customers were asking them. They took down my name & number to call back once the system was back up & running again but received no call.

(Copmaring to old RTA) I like how the government has decided to merge almost everything into one office. Saves time and the contemporary layout makes the experience less depressing. Wait time is very depended on time of day. Reccomend going off peak hours

I was amazed at the service in a government department. Fantastic. More seniors should be employed in customer service because they know what they are doing. My problem was solved in 15 minutes of "self service" (actually staff guiding me through like a workshop). An absolute life saver and now I have the new Medicare app.

I have only ever had great interactions here and go quite often. This is the only RMS service center I like using as the staff has been courteous and polite every time. Long waits some days but that is typical of any government service center in any country from my experience...

We had terrible experience at Services NSW Castle Hill branch yesterday afternoon. Initially, we had been served by a nice lady at ticket machine and gave us forms to complete. As we had two matters to ask, we took one ticket first for 1st matter, when 1st one was resolved, we went to ticket machine and wanted to get another ticket for 2nd matter, at this time, another young lady came to us and asked if we needed help, I said we were fine, we had been served by another lady, and I knew the option I needed to choose on the machine. After that, this young lady glared at us with disdain for few seconds, which made me really sick. She turned to another customer and ignored us.

She was back to counter 13 few minutes later

What’s the point of asking us to arrive 15 minutes before our appointment when we don’t get called until 45 minutes after our actual appointment time! And the ladies at the check-in need to lose their pathetic attitude or go work somewhere that doesn’t involve any human interaction. Incredibly appalling

Went in to renew my license. Took the RMS over 45min to serve me and were unable to renew my license as time ran out in the day, most useless company I’ve had to deal with! Will never be back to this RMS!

Usually I absolutely fear going in to a service centre, this time I was pleasantly surprised! I was greeted by a nice man who pointed me in the right direction immediately. The lady behind the counter was really helpful and precise. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Very happy with my first experience at a RMS.

Be prepared for a wait. There are lounges and free wifi, the password is on your queue number ticket.

Driver's licence renewals done quickly they post out uour new car.

If you are looking to get birth certificates it will be faster and cheaper to go to Birth Deaths and Marriages a 10 minute walk away at 35 Regent St, Chippendale.

No public toilets. Central station is very close snd has toilets.

Terrible customer service. One of the Indian staff was the most terrible - she kept talking to other staff and customers at her next counter instead of serving her own customers. She looks down on customers and acts like she's in great power. Also, the supervisor there was just incapable and incompetent on providing professional knowledge and dealing with his own staff's conflict with customers. The worst centre of all Service NSW.

Attended for a work related matter, expected to have to wait a few hours and then have to fight with the attendants to get what I needed done.

Was happily surprised to be disappointed in this regard. The wait was short (10~ mins), the attendants were polite, professional (with just the right amount of casual friendliness thrown in), and went above and beyond to give me information that RMS (despite multiple calls) hadn't done over the phone. Resolved my needs quickly and easily.

10/10, would definitely take a number again.

I've been in at night a couple of times as well as during busier times. At night there are few or no customers there, so there's no wait time. During busier times such as 3-5 pm, the wait times can be longer. Service was generally good, although it has been a while since I went in, I can't remember anything to complain about.

Adequate service overall but don't do any driving test here. Examiner was not observant as he was looking out the window at the view while I was conducting head checks. Not willing to enter into discussion about head checks and how to make them more obvious after we returned to the RMS. Go to Port Stephens for better examiners and service.

When there were individual departments folks knew what they were doing. Now nobody knows anything. They have a self service section where you are not allowed to do self service because some loud Herbert comes over and distracts you. The individual departments used to be able to give us driver licences and birth certificates, now we have to wait weeks to get them posted by a private outsourcer.

Lie to customers
I were there at 5:20 yesterday, waited 15 mins to book my driving test, but the lady at counter 1 told me I didn't have a property translation and asked me to join the queue again to wait for translation service (actually she can do that but doesn't want to be bothered).
I back to the queue, got the form from receptionist Julia and filled in translation application form, waited for another 10mins, but Julia told me I have to book for translation service for another day and come back again, she lied to say everyone has to book for this kind of service (but I went to Bondi service before, they can do straight away) which is not true, just because they want to shut door and no one wants to service me!
I asked their manager Ying at Burwood, she said the service usually take 15mins and don't need to book.
I waited 40mins but didn't get anything done. There are so many things they can improve to service better.
Especially Julia shouldn't lie to customers! It's even better is she told me I was a bit late (or she should check and direct me to correct service at first place) and no one wants to service me cause they want to go home.

Witnessed the worst customer service. A poor Chinese elderly couple didn't understand that e-tags costs were automatically deducted from their bank account. The teller named Lee from Burwood RMS was clearly very frustrated and spoke very rudely to them. She was on counter 10 at around 12:30 on 21st October 2017. A man named Tim was next to her and tolerated this kind of service.
Here are some of the things I just heard:
"Are you listening? You don't need to top up, it's automatic. YOU requested it to be taken from card."
The old man laughed awkwardly because he didn't understand. Lee said: "Don't laugh. It's not funny." And continued to shake her head and rub her forehead in frustration.
I was about to go over and help even though I don't speak Chinese because i wanted to explain in a more polite, slow, and friendly manner to this confused couple. Thankfully there was another man who came up to assist, but even he wasn't fluent and needed a few minutes to understand the situation.
Lee continued to speak to that man the same way: "You don't need to come here to top up and waste your time and our time."
They were basically told to go away in the end. Even after they left Lee had the audacity to keep mumbling "they wasted so much time, what a waste of time ugh!"
I hope she experiences the same level of "customer service" one day and understands how the couple would've felt. How embarrassing that someone educated and eloquent have no compassion for others.

An Asian face staff Janice got attitude problem. My partner and I went visit to register our relationship and was told our joint lease agreement doesn't include in the proof documents but I pointed out on her screen straight away that lease agreement is one of the proof. She didn't say sorry which was unprofessional and unacceptable. Besides, she asked my partner why his mom and dad got the same last name ? Well, in Australia when a woman got married to a man she changes her last name. She even asked why ? Excuse me ? My partner lodged a complain and requested call back but none of them ring back . WORST NSW service ever. Their service and attitude don't deserve any respect. Instead, they should be harshly blamed regarding the unprofessional , impatient and aggressive staff.

The parking rangers going to give you penalty ticket anytime even when you go to change coin to pay car park like a ninja . Don t go this RTA , it s like a cheese in the trap to make you pay penalty . All of my friends ve been in that trap . Whenever I visit , I see couple of people got upset of car park penalty . This brunch need more teller for customer Always need to wait 30 mins at least

The machine said 20 mins wait, real time was 42 minutes. Friendly and helpful staff, but it became packed out while I was there. Very understaffed. Only 1/2 the counters open. Hire more staff!

Went in to process my driving license renewal. I felt like it was much quicker, efficient and electronic than the old RTA. Big queues as expected but a lot of matters were taken care of electronically (self serve PC) to reduce wait times with service representatives.

Parking near by is not possible however and going to a shopping centre car park may be your solution. There is street parking in neighbouring streets, however they are short term and your wait may exceed that period.

I went today. It is definitely open for business. When I entered, someone asked me what I wanted to do. They gave me the correct form and told me how to fill it in. Then I took a ticket and was served within ten minutes. I had a difficult transaction but the clerk processed it quickly and efficiently. I parked at Westfield Burwood and walked up to the office within fifteen minutes.

worst NSW service ever, we had a ticket and waited for over an hour. No body called our number. When we spoke to them thinking they skipped our number. They told us they are fully booked and can not do anything at the moment. If you can go to another service go ahed. Dont waste your time!

The staff were overrun and not enough people were on staff. Its a massive fail from the government as its overwhelmingly busy. Burwood caters for most of the inner city and inner south west. Expect to wait at least one hour for a simple licence renewal

Was ready and excited to give computer based test.
After wating for awhile my no was called to counter no 4 so went to the counter and said that i m here for driving computer based test and was going to show my booking detail. The woman behind the counter did not look to the details and gave me the form and asked me to fill it. So polity i asked do i have to fill this form before i attend the test and she said yes and aske me to come to here once i m done. I had a look at the form and it says on the top licence renewal form. As i was addressing her saying that it says licence renewal form, she did not even listen to me and said rudely "i know my job i know what i have given you just fill the form and bring it back when you finish ". I replied i believe u do thats why u r on the other side of the counter
I went to the table to fill the form as i was filling it i was confused so looked back to the woman on counter no 4, she looked at me and called me pointing fingers, it was rude.
Went back to her in counter no 4, with no apologies she said can u fill this form and gave me th correct form and told me i was put back to queue and asked me to wait for next call for same ticket no
Wow to much before i even started the test and back to the que. Did not deserve a star
And i failed the test thanks to the women at counter no 4 on Friday 11 nov at 1 pm

I can't believe the Services NSW Parramatta couldn't serve the payment system (even not with cash????) after waiting for 45mins. I think the IT apartment should absolutely hire someone know how to do their job!!!!!!!! Waste the customer's time!!!!!!!!!!! Hire more staff members pls!!!!!!!!

i cannot believe the system was shutting down today again!!!!!!! Parramatta service is such a joke and i would not like to go again! Stupid staff members are so rude!!!!!!! looks like they are busy but doing nothing!!!!

I waited there for more than hour and the guy said you need to sign as a witness on your own signature and your wife's signature. My son was in ICU ,I explained him everything I said I got my IDS , can u be witness ...He said you have to be witness for ur own signs ..Thts stupid ..He wasted my precious time for no reason..Very Bad Service

10:33am 2-Sep-2017. My only experience at this Service NSW was perfect. Granted, I just needed to (update my residential address and) get a new address sticker for my driver's licence. I didn't have to sit in a queue or pull a ticket. One of the front desk employees, JT, asked me straight away what I needed help with. I told him and he brought me to an empty desk where he updated my address and printed me a new sticker, all in less than 4 min. I wish the document had some sort of date so I can post it as proof of patronage. :)

Hard to get to,hard to find , no parking, long waits, stupid policy's , waisted 1 hour for 1min answer, have to return and wait another hour, this place is packed, it's like being stuck in traffic on Parramatta rd, when they stop start every 5 meters. Painfull experience

Brad was helpfull & the guy at the door, printer and computer problems , could not print PDF , under staffed , add 20 people please "its a city " Parramatta is not a small town - I blame the people who allocate government money -- Parra dose matter

Also we need a printer for the people , wifi login for the public, so we can print our documents to give the staff. Get up to date Service NSW and save on wages and time delays
** Also a blue slip from another state should be recognised for new cars . we are all from Australia and the ADR rules are the same. If you don't need a pink slip for the first 5 years, why do you need a blue slip ? When it has 10 km on the clock ? - Brand new means brand new. I had to pay $100 for some mechanic to pull my car apart to do a blue slip to check numbers . What a stupid process. Had to take time off work, drive unregistered, wait 1 hour again. then they charge me $2500 to put the car in my name and put my plates on the car for 1 year . + green slip and all the rest
Bring your credit card and a good book if you have to go to this place...

The front staff really need to work on their customer service.
I went in the morning to get my Photo Card, got my ticket and waited patiently. When called to the booth, i was told that one document was missing and the officer asked me to bring that. I came back again after 2 hours with the "asked" document, told the front staff member about it and he said it won't work and didnt even give me the ticket. I told him that the officer on this booth asked me to bring this document, so i brought it. No acknowledgement of that either.
You call this "customer service". Atleast hear out the customer.
what the hell was that. Wasted half of my day. I'd rather go to the Burwood center.

Slow, long queue, not enough staff to cope at Saturday peak period, waited over 30mins to submit disposal because online not working. Ticket system is confusing with crowded room of people and radio noises, I been told my ticket has been called twice, has to grab another ticket & probably have to wait another 30mins

Crap service arrogant staffs, just went to change simple id address, met the front staff she has been so arrogant and rude as if she's gonna punch me. It was not at all busy and I don't understand what staffs are doing there simply keeping people wait for no reason. We need to walk to staffs even if they notice us and we need to serve them as well for any kind of queries all they gonna tell you is wait here wait there that's it.

Highly recommend not to visit this place, No one knows what they are doing, I visited NSW service in regional NSW and they were so efficient to get my services done, at Maquarie NSW it is a chaos and no one is willing to help or knows how to serve people.

Avoid at all costs!!!!! We were waiting and our number was never called, and one of the customer service reps began yelling at us in front of everyone telling us she had called our number three times even though our ticket number was still clearly saying "ticket waiting" on the screen. To add to it, another worker there began shaking his head at us. Absolutely appalling customer service. Such an embarrassing experience having everyone looking at you when you have done absolutely nothing wrong. The manager didn't even seem to care about the whole situation saying it was a glitch in their system. I guess blatant disrespect is a glitch now? If you can go to another RTA location I would highly recommend it.

Through no fault of there own have lost my Birth Certificate and are taking no responsibility for their actions leaving me with full costs of a new one! The staff had no care to the fact my only documentation has been lost due to them!

Needed to submit a notice of disposable for a vehicle sold to an interstate buyer, could not be done online. Went to this Service NSW branch instead.

Two months later received numerous speeding, red light fines from Vicroads under former registered vehicle.

Do not trust this place and be extremely cautious with any interactions performed at this place. Very disorganized, incompetent and clumsy staff.

This place explains public servants in a nutshell. Lazy, worthless individuals leaching off tax payers and performing so called "work". The recent renovations and dressing staff in red is all smoke and mirrors.

they simply ripped me off. I changed my license and they took $132 from me but a friend of mine in the same situation changed his license for free at Bankstown RTA. can someone plz contact me and give me my money back or tell me why did they take from me and not from my friend

Event though it's busy in weekdays afternoon if you find the best time to go there the service is quick. We spent approximately 5 minutes for a driver's license renewal. Satisfied!

The place itself is nice, clean and spacious. The staff I found to be pleasant but are generally lacking in service and training. Had to go three separate occasions to get a basic photo card. First to get a passport verified, second was sent back because the staff in charge of it was away that day (why couldn't they get someone else to look into this?) third time they wanted to charge me more because their system and another couldn't match. It's either a system or human error because we're adamant the records are the same. I suggest it was something wrong with their system in which they denied so I can only assume it's the latter. Managed to get them to try again after much persuasion (they initially wanted to send me away to look into this myself). It worked this time. Staff needs to seek a solution to a customer's problem not just pass it onto the next person. I would suggest anyone who has to go there to see a supervisor or someone who knows what they're doing to avoid wasting time.

The best ServiceNSW I've ever been to!

I don't live near Engadine but their service is outstanding and efficient that it's worth the drive.

I went here for my driver's test. Failed the first one, passed on the second one. The service was fantastic in both of those times.

The details on my licence have been incorrect for the past 3 years because of the ServiceNSW that I went to for my L's. That caused me a lot of complications in those 3 years. I went to 2 different ServiceNSW's and they couldn't change the licence for me. One of them had terrible customer service and the other suggested that I pay $200 for a change of name for something that wasn't even my fault. However, the staff here at Engadine have all been very lovely and they actually took the time to help me get it fixed, without the extra cost. Shoutout to Liz and Ruth, and the whole Engadine staff.

10/10 would recommend.

Staff need more training when they send people away to get additional paperwork they need to make sure they are clear what exactly that needs to be , seems there is no ownership of employee error care factor nil I called so we didn’t have a problem next time we attended engadine and the manager karina wouldn’t speak to me she told the person who answered my call I should lodge a complaint on line it wasn’t a complaint it was to avoid having to turn up and be sent away again . Bad customer experience . I will attend another rms in future .
