Reviews
Fairly small seating wise but they had to move recently so they are making the best of their situation, good food and service
good quality food
Went for tapas dinner on Sat night.
Great food, extensive wine list (particularly Italian wines) and live music.
Very good night in a small but relaxed venue.
Great atmosphere, even better wine!
We enjoyed a cosy dinner with some live music. Service was a little slow but the food and drink was pretty good.
Nice local establishment with good food and decent wine list although not always 100% stocked it seems.
Atrocious
Am here writing this as I wait for my food .... have been asked five times now what did you order. Which has been over a period of now 25 minutes. Currently deciding whether to go or wait this one out.
The girls on the table next to me just walked
The family alongside me here have been an hour and are pissed
Oh garlic bread is here .... no garlic on it though so alas I've got just bread
Mighty I suggest to you reader that there are other places to go
Arrived at 7:25pm for a 7:30pm booking only to be offered the lounges, the bench seat at the front window or the smallest table in the restaurant. It's now a tapas and wine bar but they still have a small non tapas menu. Menu describes "selection of pasta's). Only 1 available. My husband ordered the steak, I the prawn risotto. Both mains. My husband requested medium for his steak. His steak arrived and was blue. The prawn risotto is an entree sized meal at an expensive priced main. Lacked seasoning for both meals and there was literally about 3 prawns cut into small pieces in my risotto. Completely over priced at $37 odd dollars. We ordered the Creme brûlée for dessert as its my absolute favourite dessert. Bitterly disappointed. It arrived with a flame on it, which quickly extinguished. Then you were left with s sloppy mess. No sugar crust, no body at all below that. The creme brûlée is $15 and doesn't come with anything else. No fruit, nothing for texture. Just a ramican on a plate. You guys need to seriously lift your game. If you want to charge top end prices then the food needs a big boost as its currently below mediocre. Disappointed we chose here to go for our birthday dinners. Won't be back!
Rushed to order, the rack of pork costing $37 was overcooked and dry, vegetables an additional $10 each, calamari @ $23 was OK. Staff give the impression that pettit fours served with coffee (Decaf $5. Soy Latte $5) was complimentary. Not so, $15 for 4 tiny pieces.
In short - poorly cooked and overpriced.
Will not return.
