Bought WAHL Cordless Colouring Pro Combo while on sale either late July or early August last year with a 2-year warranty. Paid in cash & unfortunately discarded the receipt. Was to use it this morning after charging only to find it busted. Brought it back to shop an hour ago, they could not find my transaction using product number or anything. Manager was trying to tell me, no receipt, no proof. All I had is a Shaver Shop bag, and a good-as-new WAHL box. Quote from manager: "Anyone could have bought this from another shop, not that I am saying you did. Or anyone could have stolen it, and brought it back for a replace, I am not saying you did."

Feeling humiliated, I am giving them a negative review.

The worst customer service I've ever experienced from Maureen. We went in to buy my partner a shaving brush. The brush dropped out of its holder & onto the shelf. Maureen quickly approached us & said "be careful boys, we smack kids if they break things". We couldn't leave there fast enough. Shocking service from such an elderly woman.

Poor product knowledge in the shop after waiting 15mins for help. I know they have hundreds of shavers, clippers, hairdriers, etc. For something that was in the catalogue but not on display they drew a blank. The shop was far better as franchise and not as a company store. Bought a trimmer and a battery trimmer and was (hard) upsold on batteries, shaver saver and refused on the large fries. Only realised when I got home and applied my clipper oil - why did I agree to buy saver saver at $15 when I did not purchase an electric razor The 20 bucks I saved on buying there was wasted and I could have gone to BIG W and just taken it off the shelf.

What a joke for a store.
After finding out an epilator bought in Sydney has a crack in the main attachment I called ahead to see what could be done about exchanging the product. I was told by the shop assistant that they had "plenty" of spare parts and to just bring the part down to swap out. Well, wasn't that a wasted three hour journey with a screaming baby and toddler. At the store, the same shop assistant couldn't remember talking to me on the phone, before remembering but then telling me because the damage wasn't major she wouldn't do anything and the company wouldn't help because the receipt states they don't do refunds/exchanges for change of mind.
The receipt also states that they will exchange for a damaged item you wouldn't have bought otherwise or repair/replace if the damage is minor - well.. I certainly wouldn't have wasted my time with this store if I had have known they won't honour their obligations because I wouldn't have wasted my money on a broken item in the first place.
I will try the original store before taking the Australian Consumer Law route.
Wouldn't recommend.

Their return policy is terrible

Bought a shaver for roughly $500, the blades broke within 5 months, had to pay $99 for new ones even though it is said to have a 24 months warranty. Lady was very rude
