Shearwater Capital Group is an independent Sydney-based investment management business, which launched the Shearwater Capital Special Opportunities Fund in January 2009. The Fund invests in opportunistic credit and special situations across the corporate and real estate sectors in Australia and New Zealand (and selectively across the Asia Pacific Region), targeting investment opportunities generated by market conditions of illiquidity, financial distress and deleveraging.
