I loved Bateau Bay but this time we stayed in this caravan park in a cabin and I was totally disappointed for the money that we paid, we stayed for 10 nights and got one towel each, I had to ask the cleaners for new towels the third day and they were lovely ladies, the smoke detector kept going off for no reason weren't sure whether it was due to the bathroom fan burning out, we ended up taking the battery out the second day as it was beeping all day while we were away and came home to it beeping and friends told us they heard it going off all day, it was not hard wired which I thought was compulsory for everyone to have.Nobody came near us to change the sheets or at least give us clean ones I had to ask for extra towels at the office again during the stay and the receptionist was busy and wasn't to happy with me.I had a lady park in my car space which I paid for in my holiday stay not once but twice so the second time I had to ring the office. we had no electricity one day due to advance energy doing work this went on and off twice. The lounge had no cushion underneath and all fallen apart so we had to use pillows off the bed to sit on. The fridge was rusty and the bathroom needs a huge reno on it... My overall stay in this cabin was not very enjoyable at all I think you need to put more money into the cabins for the price you are paying I could of gone to the Gold Coast or overseas for the price I paid with you guys. You have poured a heap of money into the other one but have let shelly beach cabins go down hill we use to stay there in our caravan and it was much nicer. I don't normally do these reviews but because we all were disappointed with our stay I felt like I had to tell you, hopefully you upgrade everything to the star standard that it should be down the track and make it more enjoyable for peoples stay in the park.

The location is perfect, a couple minutes walk to the beach. Security keep check on the park through the night and coded entry and exit so very secure. Cabin basic, clean. Staff friendly and helpful. A great place to stay.

So close to the beach shops an the cabin i was in had a great view. Not cheap to stay though.

Compared to other sites I've stayed on east coast of Oz at similar price I've rated 3 stars. The toilet block is fine, kitchen good and only a 2min walk to Shelley beach. Camping plots are pretty standard, next to a slow road with not much traffic. Overall, fine to stay but nothing above average to report.

The best place to stay wonderful hospitality I would stay over and over again.

Dirty ! Not a nice family atmosphere, old facilities shabby play area. Games room with no games great!!!! Not to mention the drunken fights n loud music all night till 3am !!! Yeah no thnx no recommendations here...

I enjoyed my stay and would visit again.
Very large and clean amenities.
Many on-site vans and cabins available.
Not many camping or caravan sites as mainly permanent
Very close to beautiful beach and surf club for lunch at reasonable price.
Leagues club is great that you can ring for a courtesy bus

Great place for a few nights. Came here in 2016 and 2017. Glad to see the cabins have air con now, but price per night is more expensive since 2016. Common areas can be noisy/rowdy depending on who is there.

3 min walk to the beach is always a bonus.
