Came here on Tuesday night for a function. Had a drink at the 1st floor bar which only does table service. Service slow and not too friendly. Went inside the function (on the same floor) but bar not open so had to wait until it was and in any case only had a limited supply of drinks with no spirits. The barman suggested we should buy drinks at the other bar and bring them in. Went back to the bar and they said it was table service only and they wouldn't deliver drinks into the function. I think a public servant must have written the process flow for this one. We did eventually get served but the bar and wait staff weren't too happy about it. During the evening the service was poor and the waiters looked like they would rather be somewhere else, not one smile or friendly service from any of them. This was very poor for a Five Star hotel. The only positive from the hotel was that the food was quite nice.
