The Shoalhaven Defence Families Association is a not for profit organisation which aims to bring fun, friendship and connection to new and existing defence and civilian families in the Shoalhaven.

The Shoalhaven Defence Families Association is a not for profit organisation which aims to bring fun, friendship and connection to new and existing defence families in the Shoalhaven and surrounding areas. Our objectives are to reduce isolation, develop a sense of community, build confidence, self esteem and well being and provide training and learning opportunities to members. We also offer our services to the wider civilian community.
This page is for posts relevant to SDFA only. Advertising of business is only permitted by PAID members. However, approved photos and website links are allowed (for a time specified) while conducting an organised fundraiser for ‘Kooka’.
Being a PAID member of the SDFA gives you access to a range of resources including our community house, Kookaburra Retreat where we hold a range of activities and also has a crèche so if you have kids, you can have some much needed respite.
The cost to be an SDFA member is an annual fee of $30.
Are you new to the area? You are welcome to visit us a couple of times to ‘try us out’ before deciding to join the SDFA.
