Shoalhaven Zoo

Wonderful place to take International visitors to. Get up close and have your photo taken with a Koala. The staff are very friendly and helpful. What a great experience and memory of Australia.

Quiet zoo which is nice had a meal in the cafe overlooking the river. Nice visit ideal for the kids.

We had a lovely time with our 2 year old. Impressed to see lions, a camel, a maine wolf, crocodiles, monkeys, etc. Not too big and really enjoyable. Particularly loved the petting area with goats, chickens, sheep - all of whom were eager when they saw the little paper bags of food the Zoo sells for $1 to feed them. Great fun!! If you are taking a pram I recommend a 3-wheeler, we had a travel pram, and while we managed it was a bit too much terrain for it at times. Definitely worth a visit!
We saw older kids having great fun on the trees, too!

Dropped by as a quick stopover to end our roadtrip. Very awesome zoo! Saw an amazing demonstration with a wombat and her baby in her pouch and got to touch it.

A pity we did not have enough time to finish the zoo.

It's quite a friendly zoo - the fact that they have lions wolves and reptiles ;)
It's quite clean and spacious.
It's great for family and a group of friends to spend the whole day here with zoo and some tree adventure.
They also have small shows every hour like reptile shows - lion shows - crocodile show!
They let you have a intimate experience with quite a lot of animals here.
You learn a lot through the shows with having a great time!
They also serve coffee and quick bites.
Though they just have two toilets which are not so clean and the wait is forever !
Overall the place is quite a visit be it with your loved one , group of friends, or the whole family get together!

A very good place for Picnic for friends and Families. Kids will love the Zoo as they can be very close to all the animals. Also have some good Tree Top adventure stuff in zoo.

A great zoo! It's not the biggest you can find but it comes with everything you need, there are multiple activities and shows. It also shows a lot of information about the animals that you are looking at.

You can get interactive most animals such as feeding, I recommend this zoo to people driving past this area.

Fantastic day trip every time. Love the casual family feel to the zoo as well as the chance to get close to stunning animals. The monkey madness experience was so so worth every dollar. Absolutely loved it.
