Shock Treatment

Spent time explaining my questions and provided quotes on phone. I have someone closer but will drive further to give them my business. Installation of Andriani fork cartridges and topping up nitrogen in my Ohlins rear on our MT09. Pretty sure the service will be excellent given the candid phone chat.

Came in to get my Ducati suspension tuned.. these guys were awesome..
while I was there my battery died and they helped collect my bike and jump start it and also hooked me up with a tank of fuel (it was low and didn't wanna risk stopping on the way home incase she didn't Start again)

After leaving my suspension was 10x better and the bike rode a lot better

What can I say, Terry and the boys are the best. Got my fork and shock service, all completed within a few hours. Terry was very professional and down to earth. Highly recommend this place, you will not regret it.

Whatever you do don't take your bike to these guys!! Go to Teknik. These guys are cowboys. They will take advantage of you and change the quote on the day. They will get their mates to do dodgy reviews to make themselves look good. Do your research and pass these dodgy cowboys amd get proper service elsewhere. Don't say you haven't been warned. You can always go elsewhere and not risk it.

Terry is the best shock specialist in NSW. Its a trek to get to his place but he has one of the best teams in the country and well worth the journey. Highly recommended for any Motorcycle Shock problems (dont be afraid of the dogs, they are lovely)

Could not be more impressed with Terry at Shock treatment. Literally met me out the front when i arrived and got the boys working on my bike from the get go. Once front and rear were serviced we hit the track and he spent the time get me feeling good on the bike and gave me some really good riding tips on were i was going wrong to help get the best out of the suspension. A couple more tweaks and a few more laps and we were done. He seriously knows his stuff. 5 star service.

Steering Dampers for Road Bikes - Kawasaki ZX14 Once you have tried a damper on your bike you will not want to ride without one. Everyone knows steering dampers are a valuable insurance item for a motorcycle - road or dirt. They dampen unwanted wheel deflections and generally stabilise steering outcomes. What is less talked about is the filtering effect that they provide in everyday road riding. You don't realise just how much unwanted vibration or "road noise " exists in the... average bike. We fitted the Scotts unit to a Kawasaki ZX14 with amazing results. I got to ride this myself before and after and the improvement was instant. When I handed the bike back to its owner the only way I could describe the ride was that it felt "incredibly clean" A correctly fitted damper removes the unwanted noise / vibrations and leaves you with a clean effortless feel from the bike. Back story: (apologies for the language first) Most would know I have been a life long Bloods supporter and this idiot with Goodesy is my mate Terry Hay. Terry and Jan Hay own Shock Treatment, Australia’s premier motorcycle suspension mechanics. One of Terry’s customers is Tony Lockett. A couple of years back Lockett is at Terry’s getting work done and he mentions that I had an autographed ball from the Swans but was missing Locketts signature. Next minute Plugger is in the p...hone to me betting me $100 that he did. I went out with the ball, he hadn’t signed it but did so. I also got a special ball from him for my 60th birthday that says “Stop whinging, fuck off, leave me alone, have a happy 60th birthday” signed Tony Lockett. Fast forward to last night and my phone rings. The voice says “hi, this is Adam Goodes, I believe I didn’t sign your football” Me “ fuck of you are just one of Terry Hay’s idiotic mates he is working with in Alice Springs” I hear much laughter and mirth as I hang up. 10 minutes ago my arsehole mate sent me this photo. Damn. I can not believe I told Adam Goodes to fuck off. 😖
