Today, we welcome the announcement made by NSW Health regarding the expansion of pharmacist-administered vaccinations which are expected to come into effect from January 1st 2019. These expansions will allow us to also vaccinate against measles-mumps-rubella (MMR vaccine) and diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (dTpa vaccine) in addition to the influenza vaccine and also lowers the age of access for these vaccines to 16 years old. All of our pharmacists are trained to vaccinate, so please come in to speak to us if you have any questions regarding these changes.

This is part of an initiative aimed at reducing the incidence of chronic health conditions among rural Australians by getting us to move more and meet the Australian Health Guidelines.
