Do yourself a favour and pass on these jokers. Worst customer experience I’ve had in a long time.

My outdoor awning fell down after the negligent installers had cut the screws short to make the installation easy on themselves. When it came to speaking to Shutters Australia head office to get the awning re-installed, they refused to acknowledge fault, took weeks at a time to reply and then charged me for the pleasure of the re-install, which took more than 4 months from first contact. At no point during the process was their any indication of regret or even an apology from head office.

We had a super friendly & experienced technician and the shutters look fantastic!

This is the second time Shutters Australia have provided us with great service. They are reliable, very competitive on price and the quality of shutters superior. We are extremely happy with the product and will engage in their services again in the near future. Thank you.

Excellent customer service both by the customer service team and the onsite installer/technician. Customer services provided speedy, clear responses to my questions and kept me informed around appointment timing and cost.
The 10yr old, 6-screens-wide foldback aluminum plantation shutters on my deck are heavy and over time they get start dragging on the lower track so they’re nearly impossible to fold open without excessive ’heaving and pushing’ on my part, and even then they end up scratching my deck surface. Leon from Shutters Australia came out today and after considerable effort on his part, was able to fix all the issues and adjust so the screens so they again open and close smoothly. Leon was extremely professional and did a great job. Thanks Shutters Australia - my deck space is useable again!

We got our new curtains installed today and we couldn’t be more thrilled. They look stunning and really soften the space. Dealing with Shutters Australia has been such an easy process. From
booking the initial measure and quote, to installation…. They made everything seamless. Shutters Australia even sent out a staff member to do a “check measure” prior to installation to ensure the finished product was perfect. Every touch point from them was friendly and professional. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough and the finished product is so classy!

The initial sales rep was very helpful, but the company did not follow through on the promised installation date.

The rep who undertook the window measurements somewhat smugly told us that our renovation would not be ready on the day we requested installation. When we insisted it would be, he said that he would ‘pencil it in.’

The day came but Shutters Australia did not.

A call to them was met with an evasive excuse that the shutters were still being manufactured. Apart from price, the main reason we chose Shutters Australia was because of their promised fast-turn around and installation. In the end the shutters were installed a week later than promised.

Worse, the installer did not adequately clean up afterwards, leaving tiny metal shards on the floor which we are still finding all over the house.

And one of the magnets which keep the shutters closed fell out after one day.

Overall a disappointing customer experience which did not match the professionalism of the original sales rep.

I would recommend Shutters Australia to anyone, they were recommended to me for my shutters which I had installed a few weeks ago which are beautiful Scott was amazing on the day of installation. The whole process from quote to installation was very professional.

This was my second property and the 3rd order over few years from Shutters Australia.
They have the best product on the market.
This time I ordered verticals and shutters. As always great product and service!

Absolutely dreadful service. Quick to take our money with 3 awnings. And after a faulty installation, we have been without and awning all summer. Do not use these people if you want any sort of after service care.

These guys were sloppy with the installation. Screws weren't drilled in straight or all the way. Screw holes were made bigger then the size of screws so you could see the hole. Holes were made that were not needed for screws. Didn't clean up after themselves. Dirty hand marks on our walls.

Very rushed job overall. It was a struggle just to get these people to respond to us and organise a time for installation. They take the deposit then show very little care after that.

We try to exceed our Customers expectations and pride ourselves on our products, service and great value. As the manager responsible, I love to get feed back from our customers and work hard to improve to make the experience exceed expectation.

This is the kind advise to not employ this company for ordering and installation of blinds.
I have been through horror past several weeks for installation of double blind in my elderly mother apartment
After they get your 50% deposit they do not care about following on decent service..
I have made several trip to the showroom made many calls and still have not blind installed after check measure which was on 3 January.
There were problems due to the wrong measurement taken, there were problems with installers, endless waiting, finally dirty and marked with blue pencil blind delivered and installed but I have refused to accept substandard blind which is very expensive.
Also I had call from that installer asking me about the parking in the area, and told me that if he will not be able to find the parking the blind will not be installed. Upon arriving into the apartment he told me that he stands in no standing area with a blame on me in his voice. Since when customer needs to worry and be responsible for the parking of installers vans?
He did not bother to bring a ladder from his van and just popped up on one of the chairs.
The installer, in front of me, tried to erase the blue pencil mark and dirty spots on off white blind with a dirty eraser! The fabric of blackout blind was not smooth had crinkles at the bottom of the blind near the bar.
They say they will call you but they do not. Happened to me few times.
My mum was left only with sunscreen blind in heat wave on 10, 11, 12 February and was able to blackout intense sun glare in 40C temperature with blackout blind as well she is not able to sleep due to the lights at night from surrounding buildings..
I was told again, after I called office after dirty blind was taken away, that I will be called next day, to let me know when the blind will be fixed and installed but NOBODY called me.
My mum is old fragile lady and she is an the verge of nervous breakdown due to the horror of installing double blind which was first equated for at the end of November 2016.
I have been to the office many times as well I have to arrange my life and work around installation of this blind etc etc. Had to go from Castle Hill to Potts point several times already .So far with no result.
Mum elderly mum is not able to deal with the matter by herself.
I gave only one star for the fact that I dealt with two lady reps from company who work in the office in Castle Hill and they were pleasant
and helpful but that is when proper service ends.
Do not use this company you will save yourself a lot of stress and money.

The best thing about Shutters Australia is that they have an extremely vast range of window coverings to choose from. It's so huge that you easily get spoilt for choice. Last month, when I had to get shutters for my kitchen, I ended up buying shutters for my bedroom as well as my living room. What could have I done? The plantation shutters on display were so delightful and amazing that I just couldn't resist! Only a few months ago,I also got blinds from Shutters Australia. The material they use for making shutters and blinds is of premium quality and their craftsmanship too is world-class. Very impressed!

What beautiful awnings and shutters Shutters Australia installed in my home! I am totally in love with them and I so like to flaunt them in front of my guests.
