Only positive about this motel is the nice owners. The room we stayed at were quite crappy. Furnitures were dated and very old. Carpet was quite dirty and the curtains are so old that lights would come through it in the morning. Our room had no aircon, only had a gas heater which didn't work properly at all. So we had to spend two nights in the room without proper heating system. Bathroom floor was quite dirty and the main entry door to the room wouldn't lock properly and cold air was coming through it. The amount of money we had to spend per night, we expected a much better room. Breakfast service wasn't up to the standard either. Usually you get served with much better breakfasts in similar places for similar amount of price. We got served with corn flakes/cereals and some breads and one type of canned fruit as a breakfast (!). Won't go back there again and definitely not recommended.

A peaceful and quiet hotel located on Lake Jindabyne in East Jundabyne. Beautiful sunsets. We stayed in a premium room equipped with a spa bath and a balcony with a beautiful view of the Lake. Great for couples getaway. Staff friendly and helpful about what to do locally.  Free simple breakfast. We will come again.

BEAUTIFUL !! My partner Jess and I stayed in one of the spa suites, which was fabulously modern and very very spacious. The bed was amazingly comfortable and very roomy, the room also had beautiful decor with modern features such as towel warmers and underfloor heating. The room opened up to a beautiful veranda overlooking the Jindabyne lake with the Snowy Mountains in the background. Breakfast was free with the room (ALL YOU CAN EAT SMORGASBORD) The hotel served a variety of beautifully cooked food such as bacon and eggs, sausages, fried tomato, toast etc. The service from reception to the bar and the restaurant was second to none, there was a gaming room with pool, racing games where the kids in the hotel spent most of their time. The owners are super friendly, helpful and genuine and you would do well to find hotel operators as good as them. FINALLY !! The SPA was amazing, brand new, big and beautiful, what else can I say but COME AND STAY.
Yours sincerely,
Tom from QLD

The service we received was absolutely amazing! We had a few hiccups with our trip and these guys were more than happy to help in any way possible! (Including picking us up from Jindabyne when our car broke down)!!! Our room was so beautiful and comfy. The food was so good! Will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone!

Beautiful place to stay. We had a Spa suite which was great! Highly recommended. Spa rooms come with reverse cycle air conditioning. What could be better than relaxing in a Spa with your partner, overlooking the gorgeous snowy mountains and expansive water catchment.

I have PS arthritis so I am not sure how central heating or heated floors would have worked for me.. be mindful of the heating when booking in winter if you have any issues with the cold - I have seen the Lodge has blow heaters etc in the office through other comments :) Air conditioning was a must for me during winter.

Other than checking heating there is nothing to fault. This spot is picturesque. The on-site bar has big fireplaces, wonderful food and staff. Sharon, our host, was a happy, friendly person with a lot of time to tell you about the town and its history. She answered all of our questions and made us feel very welcome.

A great get away for a couple to relax :) I would highly reccommend it. We are a young working couple .. and we definitely needed a little R & R.

Thanks Sharon :) we hope to stay again in the future!! 5 stars from us.

The Siesta Villa is a very good place to enjoy dinner as it provides entertainment for children, a bar and an amazing restraunt that has a specialty of serving hot stone grills. The service is moderately fast and the food is tasty. Overall a five star experience.

We stayed 2 nights at Siesta villa. The first night (a Friday) they hosted a wedding that had loud music up until 2 AM, the second night there was some kind of function. Again music was loud until late.

The room we stayed in had no air con, which was quite unpleasant, giving we stayed during warm summer days. The room was poorly noise insulated: conversations outside the room could be heard as if I stood next to the people speaking. The noise insulation wasn't enough to stop the noise of the bathroom sink faucet and toilet flushes from adjiacent rooms.

A number of motorcycle riders (25+) stayed at the Siesta Villa over the weekend of 4/5/6 November 2016, for the annual Snowy Ride. this place IS motorcycle friendly, loads of parking. Very comfy rooms, terrific views from the balconies. A nice quiet off the main road weekend getaway.
The facility is the perfect spot to unwind after a hard day's ride. Once booked in, just don't have to go anywhere else, everything at your finger tips. Excellent menu (I recommend the lamb rump and the filet steak on the (very) hot stone. Everything on the menu is top restaurant quality food and excellent value for money!
A great selection of beers, (Australian and imported) wine and spirits are available at pub prices. Nat and Dave run the place, very friendly people and they make you most welcome from book in time!
Do yourself a favour, don't spend loads of hard-earned cash on the yuppie places in and around Jindabyne, give these very hard working folks a go, book in stay a day or two, you won't be disappointed.
I will be back next year...!
