Hana Zaarour: Principal Psychologist
Hana has a background in various human services and brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of women’s health, child protection, disabilities and vocational rehabilitation. She also brings her specialist experience in the area of domestic violence to the practice. Her interventions are informed by evidence based practices and a strengths framework. She enjoys integrating the principles of resilience, mindfulness and emotional regulation. Hana has a strong passion for domestic violence advocacy and children and young person’s safety, welfare and wellbeing.
Accepting referrals for: Women and children requiring therapeutic intervention
Walid Ahmad: Educational and Developmental Psychologist
Walid has a background in school and community settings, child and adolescent mental health and in private practice. He is well known for his specialisation in the assessment of children and young persons as well as his passion and advocacy for the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young persons.
Accepting referrals for: Children and young persons’ requiring cognitive and behavioural assessments.
Signature Psychology will also introduce groups for child emotional and social development as well as social skills groups based in the principles of dialectical behaviour therapy. There will also be a focus on intervention and recovery groups for women who have experienced domestic violence.
We also provide consultation and training in the area of domestic violence and child protection and can tailor training packages to suit your needs.
