A practicing artist for more than 4 decades Phillip Ayers is greatly influenced by the Impressionist movement of the late 1800s. His photographic works, while considered abstract, draw heavily on the Impressionist's desire to capture a feeling or experience rather than to achieve an accurate
depiction of the subject. His ability to see subjects in a new and invigorating way, turns the mundane into the expressive.
The result - objective representation of the subject that resonates on a personal and emotional level with the wearer.
