... Session Rye IPA - ABV – 4.5 % IBU 50+
Collaborating with Alex from American brewing heavyweights THREE WEAVERS, this beer is a down under version of Return of Sassy rye IPA done in the very Three Weavers way … ie a tonne of hops, just keep adding them!!!
Brooks and Alex worked together to give this west coast style session IPA a very antipodean flavor. Starting with it’s original rye base it was to lead with that distinctly spicy characteristics, then the hops hop aromas of galaxy, ella, and nelson sauvin give big tropical fruit aromas and a firm bitterness. Did we say hops, Alex just wouldn’t stop adding them! Then to give it that quintessential NOMAD twist we added the fingerlimes and rosella to make this Sassy truly aussie. And so was born the Sassy Sheila.
MALTS – American ale, Munich (honey, moderate sweetness) and Rye( biscuit) HOPS – Ella, Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin SPECIAL INGREDIENTS – Fingerlime and Rosella YEAST – American Ale

Dropped in there yesterday for a drink with some friends. We were greeted by a sour faced girl who asked "do you want anything?". Then when asked if they had cans of Coke she just replayed with a rude "no". No reason or explaining that I could have it in a glass. The whole of the honeysuckle area was packed out but not this place. I won't go back.
