Great bit of South Africa in Penrith, the service was fast and friendly and just like home. They even had the happy birthday songs for the little one. Food was just like the real deal in South Africa down to the famous spur sauce and onion rings. Definitely recommend for the home sick

Nice family restaurant that’s a better option than neighbouring fast food joints. Good selection of meals, always good burgers with flame grilled patties and deep fried onion rings are a highlight. Kids play area.

Who can tell with Spur's? The only thing you can count on staying the same from visit to visit is the friendly service. You know it's going to be pricey for what you get, but you can live with that as long as the kitchen sends out exactly what you asked for (spoiler alert—it's a coin flip).

On the other hand, who can blame them charging a premium for putting up with your kids? The only time I go is with friends whose brats can't be trusted to spend two hours alone.

I have noticed that no matter what goes wrong, the onus of keeping the customers happy is on the servers. They should get a raise and management should shoulder more responsibility.

The customer food service was friendly and fun. The seating was comfortable and food was priced above average. Some of the dishes served were over sauced. Not a fan of their 'grated' fried onions, i would just keep them as rings and make it easier to eat

I really do love this place.
It was a long drive out, but I loved the food. Very family orientated and has a homey theme that was very inviting. Food and drink selection was very large. If you are looking for a great time with the family this is the go-to spot. The service was a little slow, but considering how busy it was, it wasn't too bad. Will be definitely be coming back👌🍔🍺

The food quality here is not high, and has been slipping over the years. The prices of the meals are a little steep for what you get.
The atmosphere is friendly and warm. This is a very family oriented restaurants with large party booking on most nights. There are options for gluten free, vegetarian (vegan if you modify a few things) and lactose intolerant.
The staff are always friendly and work hard continuously.

It's been years since I've been here and probably the reason why I haven't returned was the quality of food. This time around food quality has changed and is for the better. The meals are well portioned (you will need to be very hungry before coming) as it is large. It is also a great place to take the kids as this establishment has a kids play area where they can enjoy whilst the adults enjoy the meal.

The only disappointment that I have with the meal here is the onion rings. They weren't tasty at all and is a little too greasy.

Great food, loved the menu choices and options. Food arrived quick and I was pleased to see a plate full and not much white space left on it! The meal was yum and I was pleased. Staff were all friendly, and helpful despite being super busy. Kids play area was handy also. A little pricey for some meals but the portions are good! We'll be back...

The food is good for the price and the entertainment for the kids is great. One of the best family friendly places i have taken the kids to in a long time.

We are extremely impressed and grateful to Spur Penrith. I left my watch on the table after an awesome lunch, and traveled back to the Gold Coast, only to realise when we got home a few days later that I had left my watch there. I contacted Spur Penrith, and they posted my watch to me, and they also paid for the postage. Now that is service.

Silver Spur is a restaurant that tries to cater for everyone. It is an American-style restaurant in its layout and in its meal portions. The staff were friendly, and we even had the manager come to check up on us to see how we were going! I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal.

Great place to take the kids. Playground is safe and keeps them entertained for ages. Food is nice, if you do have any issues they fix them very quickly.
