Silverwater Smash Repairs

Please check comments before go there. I couldn't understand how they got the good comments. Really bad experience. They tried their best to avoid to repair one part of my car. They asked me to go back to the accident place and took pictures for them then sent to them by email. The place was really far away from my place. I had the accident while I was in holiday. Finally I did. It took me one day off from the work to do it. And I sent them email by different email address 5times. They never called me back even I called them and they said they will call me back. Finally I spoke to the guy could check the email, and they reply they never received email from me. I sent another 2 mail again and they still said couldnot receive my email. Really terrible experience with them. Never recommend them and go back again. Please see the comments before go there.

I don't know how come some of the review here said Silverwater Smash Repair are good
but i have very bad experience, didn't even book with them after what they was said about my repairs
said my some of the repairs are not from this accident

Low quality repairs, workmanship and service with attitude. This place is an NRMA sausage factory for cheap nasty repairs.

Efficient and well staffed to provide a quick and thorough service

Disorganised. Too many mistakes for a single insurance (Iag/Coles) claim. Don't take responsibility for their faults. Broke my seat on the job and say wear and tear. Over charge. Look elsewhere if you love your car.

Rude and unhelpful. We've been to these guys twice now as this is NRMA's preferred smash repairs for the area. Both times they argued about whether the damage was from the accident or not, even when it was obvious it was.

Worst, for the second incident, they fixed/replaced the front grill, bumper and bonnet, but then refused to fix the clearly cracked and damaged headlamp casing. One of the guys even said the damage may have been caused by a previous owner of the vehicle!

After a lot of arguing, including smirks from the guy who does the inspections, finally they agreed to fix the casing, but they'd have to order the part in and let me know when it arrived.

3 weeks later still no word, called reception who said they would look into it and call me back, but they never did. Called again today and have been again told they'd look into it and call me back. Here's hoping it happens.

Surely NRMA could find a better company than this to work with?
