Throwback to the 1* days on Jim 🤗 Miss this horse so much! For a once wild horse who roamed the back of the Hamner hills to competing to 1* eventing and 1.25 SJ is just incredible! I was so thankful and lucky to have this superstar in my paddock for so many years! So happy with Ezy today at Okuku ODE he was a star 💕 Not our best work in the dressage, probably due to not being ridden all week 😂 He still managed 6th on 37.81! Stormed around the XC for a clear round 🤩🤩 He felt so awesome out there so pleased how his cross country is coming along! One rail due to the doubles distance being way too tight for a one stride let alone for Ezy who has such a big stride! We finished 2nd 🥈 I'm absolutely over the moon 🤗 This horse just gives his a...ll every time and still continues to improve in leaps and bounds even when we can't get the riding in we need during the week. Hes such a special horse and I am so excited for what's to come! Have made the decisions not to go to Eyreton ODE 😞 Mainly because our ground is still so wet at home and I cant keep leaving Ezy all week not getting ridden and then drag him out of the paddock on the weekends to event!! Grey 17hh Thoroughbred Gelding. Born 2008. Bred for polo in North Canterbury, finished playing polo in 2014 since growing too tall. Before I got him he had previously schooling and done some low level competition days. Hes got the looks, brain and an incredible jump! He got terribly sick over Christmas 2017 and we weren't sure whether he was going to pull through but luck was on our side and he slowly got better. He lost all condition and was on and off for 3 months after thi...s with lameness as it took him a long time to fully recover from his illness. Since then he has been feeling awesome and we have really formed a good bond! So far he has SJed to 1.10cm with success, schooled over a few 1.20 fences and done two 80cm events finishing 3rd at Hurunui ODE and 1st at Amberley! We are stepping up to 95 soon! He is incredibly talented and I feel so lucky to have stumbled apon him through word of mouth when I wasnt even looking for a horse as it was soon after I sold my previous horse Jim. I have huge goals for Ezy and I so watch this space...

Bay 15hh (currently will grow more... hopefully) Filly. Born in 2014 bought from the St James horse sales in January 2017 unbroken and unhandled. After the sales she was sent to be broken in for 8 weeks before returning home. Since being home she has been ridden on and off lightly and is going brilliantly. St James horses are late developers therefore we haven't done alot with her. Once she turns 4 I hope to ride her more regularly and get her going and doing some competing over the 2018/2019 season. Shes so gorgeous and so well put together I am so excited for her to grow more and to do more with her!
