Singleton parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am in Singleton, NSW, Australia.
Singleton parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

We finally cracked the 100 mark again this week, with 105 people coming down to Rose Point Park to run/jog/walk the Singleton parkrun course. This included 10 first timers and 12 parkrunners recorded new Personal Bests ¤ÅāŌĆŹŌÖĆ’ĖŤī│¤ÅāŌĆŹŌÖé’ĖÅ

Abrahm Russell ran his 100th parkrun on Saturday, making him one of the newest members of the parkrun 100 Club. Abrahm ran his... first parkrun in Singleton on 6 September 2014 in a time of 23:12, his current pb is 18:45. He's completed 93 parkruns in Singleton and has been a parkrun tourist at four different parkruns, he's also volunteered five times. Congratulations Abrahm ¤śĆ¤ÅāŌĆŹŌÖé’ĖŤī│¤Åģ

In the year 2000, Singleton parkrunner, Oliver Gresham set the record in the 800 metres final at Glendale athletics track in a time of 2.33. Eighteen years later in 2018 that record was broken. Abrahm Russell, also a Singleton parkrunner, broke OliverŌĆÖs long standing record in a time of 2.31. Both boys ran in todayŌĆÖs parkrun and met for the first time. Amazing how life transpires....

Last Saturday 74 people ran, jogged and walked the Singleton parkrun course, of whom 4 were first timers and 17 recorded new Personal Bests.

Robert MacDonald ran his 50th parkrun on Saturday, granting him entry into the parkrun 50 Club. Robert ran his first parkrun in Singleton on 14 March 2015 in a time of 44:25, his current pb ...is 35:42. Robert has completed all 50 parkruns in Singleton and has volunteered 4 times.
