I'm a Sydney based artist. I make hand crafted skull jewellery in silver, gold or brass for men and women.

The skull is a representation of impermanence, transition, and freedom. It signifies the liberation of worldly burdens.
Stylistically Sofia's work is strikingly bold, managing to maintain the interesting surfaces and marks created during the carving process.
Sofia Fitzpatrick creates her jewellery using lost-wax carving techniques. She uses hand tools to carve away the wax until it takes the shape of the final piece. Her pieces are solid silver (as opposed to hollowed out) and this gives them a fantastic sense of weight and substance.
