Skypeak Adventures

Would not recommend this operation. I went there with three kids, which had done several other TreeTop adventures previously, for a birthday present. I initially booked kids course but when seeing it, I knew the kids would be bored as it's more for smaller kids and our kids climb since they are 3.

As the 3 boys were just above the 140cm minimum height I requested to change them to the Atmosphere course.

After a lot of talking with the teenager staff which insisted the kids could not do it beside them fulfilling the criteria outlined, I managed to change them to the Atmosphere course which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The clipping system takes a bit to learn and even when helping kids it sometimes takes a few attempts. The young teenager staff seemed very annoyed if from time to time they need to help one of the kids so don't expect them to encourage kid's and be helpful. The teenage female staff member then asked us to leave after 1 1/2 hours not 2 hours so I had to argue again so they could finish what we paid for. To be honest, I don't think I saw a single staff member above 20 in the place

After the climbing kids played for 30 minutes in playground Go Bananas which is the indoor play centre which was pretty filthy and you need to pay Extra for.

3 Kids then got beaten up by a group of kids from a very low socioeconomic background with swearing parents and kids so that an incident report needed to be filed and kids have a blue eye and sore shoulder. The large family seems to be known to the Staff members and then left quickly.

Not a place we will be back in a hurry to...

The children had a great time and we will come back, when we visit again

Great way for the kids to get outside & use their minds & body to work out a climbing strategy.

4 stories of pure awesomeness! 3 levels for beginners, intermediate and advanced... they even have a under 5's sky walk... great place have been twice and will definitely go again!

Challenging and rewarding. Feel accomplished and great team bonding experience. It took me while to understand how the magnetic connectors worked, once I got hang of it, it was all good. The obstacle course is very processed driven making it very safe. Remember to bring your gym gloves. Staff are nice, helpful and patient. Will definitely come back again. Didn't get a chance to complete all the obstacles as we ran out of time. But we'll be back :)

Took my children down on Saturday for their visit with their dad. We went to Go Bananas. Toilets FILTHY. Cafe LONG WAIT FOR A COFFEE. Playground FILTHY. When asked who the manager was, the staff member said 'we don't have one today, she isnt in". A bunch of teenagers running the joint...... bound to end in a disaster. The kids didn't enjoy it at all so I asked their dad to pay for two tickets at Skypeak. We walk outside and had to interrupt the staffs conversation about their alcohol-furled weekend to get my children harnessed up. Thats sad, is they had to put their phones down for 5 MINUTES TO DO THEIR JOB. No enthusiasm or care were given to the children. I must have interrupted a good conversation. I go inside to approach someone once again, to see 3 staff members speaking in your admin department area, again holding their phones. Not a good look. Work on your staff, work on your facility, before you get investigated by safety authorities, the staff get random breathilized or you have mystery shoppers! Might work better if I send this through text message, posting this on Go Bananas review too!!!!

I was extremely disappointed by this place. They don't take the time to assess a child's appropriateness for their course and when we asked for a refund because we didn't want to scar our son with an experience of falling off balance beams that are too high from the ground for a 4 year old, we were advised they don't do refunds. We won't be coming back here or recommending it to friends.



Edit: Skypeak responded to my review within a few hours. But one week after sending through our contact number by email (because their page does not have the facility to send through a pm), still no contact by anyone. Yet another disappointment. Guess I shouldn't be surprised though.
