Smash! Sydney Manga And Anime Show

Japan Foundation, Sydney is running a talk about robot anime. Giant Robots and Cute Androids: The Evolution of Mechanical Bodies in Japanese Anime will be held from July 19. From Astroboy to Evangelion, anime researcher Rebecca Suter will reference works from iconic robot anime and discuss the relationship of desire and fear towards technology.
