Really wanted to give 5 stars as the place is great. Kids pool is fantastic. Camped by the river and was beautiful especially as sunset. Was disappointed to find when we got there tractor rides only happen Fri Sat. Shouldn't have promised that to the kids early haha. Good if have that information on the website. Also the water to the whole site was unexpectedly turned off for a few hours. No information was given at any stage and made it hard to do/plan dishes washing drinking etc. We visited during the week in non peak season, not many people around. We stupidly paid for 3 nights up front as on the second night our tent broke in strong winds and we had to leave. No refund policy was upheld. Should have just paid night by night. Can't do this in peak times obviously. Would have been easy 5 stars if we didn't have this few unexpected things happen.
