Snap Car Wash

This place is absolutely f*#ked. My partner took her 1 week old car there and got charged $65. They tried to upsell to a $500 package. Upon inspecting the car later there was patches on unwashed areas. The wheels were clean however not worth paying a cent. Sammy you should not be in business and I will have your business investigated

I parked my car there yesterday and wanted to get it washed ... but it started to rain and I decided not to go ahead.
Someone saw them letting the air out off my tyre, and I ended up with a flat tyre when I came back. This is not how to win customers and it’s absolutely Unaustralian. Shame over you and your company

I can highly recommend this car wash facility - the service is great and staff very easy to work with - reasonably priced too!

Disgraceful experience. I was told to spend $75 dollars to clean my car and when I said no, the staff tried to pressure me into it. I still ended up getting a cheaper wash which took them 2 hours to do and when I got into the sunlight, my car was still dirty. I also noticed my magnetic P plate was moved from the front of my bonnet, to the middle of my bonnet where upon I found 3 scratches being hidden - which was definitely not there before this wash! Lucky I was able to buff the scratches out. And on top of this, the customer service was terrible! 10/10 do not recommend going here. Waste of money and time!

5 stars for price and quality of the wash, and customer service wasn't noticeably good or bad as I think based on their culture that is normal, very serious and fast at their job. All in all very happy, thank you for making my little car shine brightly again!

Got charged $220 to wash interior and exterior of my little matchbox of a car and it was not done properly. Car seats were drenched and are still wet now (4 days later). Shampoo stains on the seats. Not vacuumed out properly at all. They did "clean" it. Seems as if they just gave it a wipe over. Outside wasn't too badly done however was not cleaned properly and still had dirty water stains running down the car and small patches that weren't done. Was 100% not worth it! I could've done a better job and should have.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! If I could rate any lower I would. This is hands down the worst carwash I have ever been too. I just paid $55 for the higher level of cleanliness and the car came back with stains still everywhere. When I aproached the attendant it quickly turned into an argument where I was told I could use their products to see off I could do a better job.

I could not ever recommend them to anyone, They tried to intimidate me by bringing over a couple of attendants during the argument and refused to accept their poor workmanship.

I should have listened to the reviews. Paid for the basic wash, collected the car. When I got home and into the light, realised that they hadn't washed it properly and had missed a few sections, ended up having to go back over it myself. At the basic wash level I don't expect the car to be immaculate, but I do expect it to be washed properly, that's what I'm paying for. One star for not physically damaging the car and one because to my surprise, the wheels were cleaned well.

Attending staff member was very dismissive. I asked for an "interior detail" (see image) which is meant to include a wash as well. My car has spatters of mud on the tires and exterior, however after he looked inside my car, which had some general dust on the dash and sand in the front, nothing out of the ordinary, I was told it would cost me $180.00 for just the inside, to do the whole car would be $300.00.
When asked how he possibly came up with the quote he said they have to do the inside first then the exterior (which doesn't explain anything). I further questioned if it was going to cost me $180.00 for the interior and they charge a flat fee for 4x4 washes of $50 flat, where the additional $70.00 was coming from to which he had no response.
Won't ever be returning or recommending.

EDIT- Probably goes without saying, but for full clarity didn't bother trying their service if that's how they handle their business.

Just amazed with the service, went in for Xmas shopping to Erina Fair . Dropped off my car for detailing at Snap Erina very happy with the clean, specially I just love how beautifully they polished my mag wheels !

This was my third visit and price just keeps going up. The first time was great. 2ndd time good and visit today was terrible.
Staff are rude. Car was dirty still inside and out. Despite paying extra for inside of doors to be done this was not completed and seats were left unvacuumed. Apparently you have to get the car polished to get the bugs off. Will not be going back. Wish the old business was still there they did a great job.

Very convenient while you are shopping. However I have been here 3 times and always seems like a rush job. Wash only cleans the dust layer off and the vacuum seems to miss bits. No more if they can't do a better job

I have my car detailed at ground level SNAP every fortnight. Every eighth visit I have the $95 detail and its well worth the price. I highly recommend SNAP.

They do a great job and are really friendly.
The previous owners wanted to charge more if the car was dirty!! But since it has changed hands service is great.

I have had my car cleaned at Charlestown snap a few times and it was great. Yesterday I went to kotara bottom level and I couldn't be more unhappy with my service.

The inside has not even been vacuumed properly

Fantastic service with a smile! I regularly use Snap Car Wash on level 2 at Westfield Kotara to detail my car. I am always delighted with the service I receive. My car always looks brand new when I drive out. Their attention to detail is fantastic - they don't just vacuum around things in my car, they take great care to ensure everything is done properly. The wheels are beautifully clean, the insides of doors cleaned and interiors looking a million dollars! I have found that everyone always has a smile and will try to accommodate fitting the detail in to my time frame. I have tried other car wash places but find their service and details are no where near as good. Its the best value for money I have found anywhere in Newcastle and I don't hesitate in recommending them.

I don't normally ever write reviews but I'm so disappointed
I payed for my car to be "cleaned" there was still dirt all over the number plates, sand on the floor matts AND bugs all over the front
When I asked the man kindly to finish cleaning it
He said it would cost me more to clean the dirt and bugs of the front, so what did I actually pay for, a hose down??? Mind you this is a brand new car so it wasn't a big job as it was anyway.
I went home and cleaned the whole thing again. I'm really upset and would never recommend this place to anyone
And also they made me feel like a inconvenience. Not happy at all, absolutely disgusting

Liked nothing about this place. Arrogant service, "it's $50, not $35 as before". Car not vacuumed inside properly, sand still on back seat, didn't move moveable child seat to vacuum under. Scuff marks still on doors, back of seats. Not nice and fresh as previous owners. Not impressed. Will not return or recommend, in fact the opposite. Have told many people of shoddy service.

They get you to pay more for a same standard of wash. And, guys, pay more attention to your vehicle size as they tend to charge you for a bigger car than your car really is.

Expensive service knowing that the car wash staff are paid poorly, much lower than the minimum legal pay rate.
