SOL food was created by Christina from the SOL north coast nutrition team in beautiful Byron Bay Australia.

The SOL FOOD Philosophy is based on changing your HEALTH and NOT your BODY WEIGHT.

Over the years there has been way too much focus on diets and "quick-fixes" (us Dietitians & Nutritionists have been guilty of this as well! ).

For many years we have watched clients struggle with weight loss. Not because they don't have the nutrition knowledge on "what is healthy" or "how they should eat". It's because for many of us focusing on the food just doesn't work. What diets don't fix is the reason we overeat or don't exercise in the first place.

What does SOL mean?

It means “the sun” in Spanish and the vision behind SOL nutrition is to provide scientifically based nutrition and dietary advice, but to do it with the warmth and compassion that the sun and ocean can bring.

Following the success of our SOL diet & nutrition clinic in Byron Bay, in 2014 we were proud to launch the first online mindful eating program in Australia and now SOL health retreats!

What's Mindfulness with Food?
It's being in the moment when you eat. It's listening to your body and eating when you body needs food. It's eating without guilt. It's eating a nutritionally balanced diet. In short it's the 'WHY', 'WHERE', 'WHEN' and 'HOW' you eat.
