Sonder Australia was co-founded by Craig Cowdrey, Christopher Marr and Peter Burnheim in 2016 to ensure that international students can access the support they need to be happy and successful. Before co-founding Sonder Australia, Craig worked as a corporate lawyer and as a diplomat representing Australia’s interest around the world. Chris is a former Australian Army officer who spent more than 18 years leading Australian soldiers on operations all over the world. Peter is also a former Australian Army officer who has nearly two decades of experience in leading a variety of difficult operations around the world. They aim to bring in their experience, network and skills developed in former careers to help international students have a safe and productive time living in Australia.
