Purchased a Sony e-mount lens here late last year, great service, price matched easily with the cheapest available online (Australian stock), also processed promotional cash back on the spot - getting a usable EFTPOS straight away.

Highly recommended, hasslefree and easy shopping experience, staff have good product knowledge and clearly knew what promotions are available - if all electronics retailers were like this I would shop physically in stores a lot more.

Such a helpful, caring team at Sony my Grandma needed a simple point and shoot camera and they even had one in purple, her favourite colour! She's called the kiosk a few times for instructions and they have always been patient with her and happy to take her through the basics step by step multiple times over - thanks guys you've saved me a lot of trouble!

Appalling customer services here. Ordered a couple of headphones on back order (had to pay upfront). Told they would be delivered in two weeks. Called to inquire about the status after two weeks since I heard nothing from Sony Chatswood. Told to wait another week and they should be in store. Called again after a week as I heard nothing from Sony Chatswood. Was told to wait another a couple of weeks. At that point, I asked if I could swap two headphones with a higher model and they said yes on the phone (RRPs of two headphones I ordered higher than the RRP of the headphone I offered to swap). I went to the shop to get the other headphone first and I was told I needed to pay extra $130 as opposed to a straight swap. The sales person said to me that was because the lowest price of the headphone ever sold was $530 except Sony online shop and JB Hi-Fi sold it for less at $499 and 493 respectively. To add insult to injury, they said they couldn't let me swap without paying because I bought the other headphones on sale...

So what they are saying is 1) they can't be bothered to inform customers of the orders unfulfilled beyond their own expected timeframe, 2) they change their stories and take no responsibility for representations, 3) you have to pay a full price in order to swap for other Sony products when the very reason the customer wanted to swap is because they keep breaking promises and don't bother to inform the customer, 4) they are willing to make misrepresentations about the lowest price a product was ever sold for (or lie about it) in order to generate extra revenue at customer's expense. Having read other google reviews, a lack of follow up and communication seems to be a constant theme in this store! Now add incompetency or dishonesty into the mix!

p.s. I had a separate and unrelated order from this shop and they kept asking me whether they have delivered or not. Perhaps I should have told them it wasn't, collect the order twice! Hopeless.
