I'm a southern girl, born and bred in North Carolina, USA. I grew up eating down home southern desserts and have always loved to cook delicious treats for my family and friends, including this Aussie boy I met who was traveling through America. He must have liked it because he stuck around. We fell in love and married, as you can expect, and we’ve now moved back to his home town to raise our son. There's nothing to be found here like those awesome southern treats so I want to share with you some of the delicious American desserts that we can’t get enough of back home.
