About Southern Tyre Service

Southern Tyre Service was established in 2000 by Michael Pope, a man with over 20 years of experience in the tyre industry. Michael’s goal was to create a service-orientated organisation that would offer an alternative to the big franchises; a tyre service that provided customised customer service and friendly, expert advice. He certainly achieved this, with an ever-growing number of new and returning clients over the years.

In 2006, it was time to expand the business and make the move into wholesale production to support the existing commercial operation. Today, we continue to grow and adapt to our clients’ needs as we always have. We’re proud to still be owner-operated, and we look forward to keeping you moving well into the future.

Our Team

In order to best serve clients throughout the Sydney metropolitan area, Southern Tyre Service has a team of 25 experienced and qualified staff. This includes three workshop fitters, one industrial service fitter and 14 road service crew to perform our regular fleet inspections and tyre maintenance and repair.
Our Ingleburn and St Peters service centres can accommodate all sizes and types of vehicle. Our 14 fully equipped mobile service vehicles and 1 fully equipped tyre handler enable us to bring specialist tyre services directly to your work site or equipment yard, no matter your industry.
