Spaceworks Sydney - Wardrobes, Cabinet Maker

Just amazing quality designs and cabinetry. These guys have turned my lounge room into an amazing space.

We required a new wardrobe and bench/drawer unit as part of our renovation project. We looked at several suppliers and most were either too expensive or the product was poor quality. Spaceworks appeared to provide a good quality product at a reasonable price. The design they provided was consistent with our briefing so their designers obviously listen to the customer.
The installation was efficient with a small team getting the job done professionally. The owner of the business visited site to ensure all was going smoothly and during the whole process he communicated with us which I feel is very good customer service. We would definitely use them again and have no problems recommending them to others.

Spaceworks designed our home office and and we were thrilled with the high quality results. Louella is a clever designer and was a pleasure to deal with. Its amazing how much neater your workspace can be with some well placed drawers and the printer hidden away with nifty ideas such as slide out shelves and hideaway door. Also loved the ugly cables being out of sight with sneaky cupboards underneath. The end result was a really attractive looking design piece.

Worst customer service. Very arrogant over the phone. They talk to you as if they don't even want your business.

I live in an apartment and had Spaceworks provide a media unit & bathroom cabinets. I was really happy with the service and quality. I'd definitely use their service again.

Like one of the previous reviews. I was willing to pay premium for the work I wanted done and submitted a request for a consult on a small entrance way where I wanted to have some additional storage and shelving in built and also some additional storage in my laundry - the person who called me said that what I was asking didn't require a high enough level of 'design' for them to take on the work. The person on the phone didn't even ask me any questions about what I wanted done. customer service is extremely lacking by this store. Go elsewhere.

I wanted to get 3 built in wardrobes made and installed one of which was going to be only 80cm wide. The other 2 1600mm and 1800 wide respectively. Also wanted some cabinetry done in a laundry to an in situ cabinet that can not be easily replaced due to it containing HWS.

As soon as I got to the point of describing the cabinet work that I needed done, I was cut off and told that they do not do any cabinet work to existing cabinet carcasses and the the small corner built in I had already described would not be worth their time.

I was never even given the chance to describe the other 2 built ins I needed done one of which was to be a shallow one only 40cm deep in home office and the other which was a standard bedroom built in.

So sorry that my small job that I had budgeted $7000 for was not to your liking Spaceworks. I am quite sure one of the many other wardrobes companies in Sydney will be happy to take my money so your loss.

I would not recommend this company based on my telephone conversation with them. Their work may well be competent but they are sorely let down by that inital approach to this customer at least.
