Stella has always said when she grows up she wants to be an author and illustrator. In December 2014, at six, Stella decided why wait until she grows up.
Stella's first book, The Christmas Castle was written as a gift for Stella's extended family for Christmas 2014. Stella loved seeing them all enjoy her book so much she decided she wanted to publish it to sell.
Stella will be donating 20% of the profits from the sales of her books to The Smith Family, the national children’s charity helping young Australians in need to transform their lives through education.
Stella says "I love reading and writing books and I hope you enjoy reading my books. I also take art classes so my drawings are nice and I love them too. "
