Splash Cafe & Restaurant

The super friendly chef (who you can see through the takeaway section as you walk by) talked us into coming in. So nice work on the sales pitch, dude!

Once inside the vibe of the place is awesome. Very relaxed, with a nice view from whatever table you're seated at. First visit the bacon and egg roll was great, but the coffee was lukewarm at best. Second time we came back we tried something different, and again the food was good. Mentioned the lukewarm coffee issue when I was ordering, and sure enough the coffee turned up and was the perfect temperature. The young waitress (bless!) even came back a few minutes later to double-check it was to my liking. Give that girl a raise!

So yeah, highly recommend the Splash Cafe, and look forward to going back again soon.

Food was absolutely fantastic
Fish and chips local beer batter, beautiful and so light
We asked for the rocket salad with little rocket it was the Best full of loads of fresh and grilled veg
I just loved it
Service was also great

Stupidly long wait. I wouldn't expect to wait nearly an hour for food if it was busy but there was only two others here. On top of that my $21 burger was the size of a cheeseburger from McDonald's.

1 hour and 45 minute wait for average food.
Staff did not communicate there would be such a long wait for our meals. We were told '5 more minutes' and offered free garlic bread half an hour before the food finally arrived (with no garlic bread).
Such an amazing location with so much potential that is unfortunately being run to the ground by extremely poor, rude management.

Average food, expensive, no atmosphere. Not worth the visit.

I had my wedding reception here and it was perfect! The whole team at Splash looked after us so well. The food was absolutely delicious! Great venue, great staff and great food.

Amazing location, food and service! Staff always happy and helpful. If you're looking for a fancy lunch in Terrigal, Splash is the way to go as the food is great quality
