Splitters Creek Community Centre Description

The Splitters Creek Community Centre and surrounds on Altmeier-Ortlipp Reserve, Altmeier Lane, Splitters Creek was constructed and officially opened in 2012. The Centre is a result of the efforts of a committee of community members representing Splitters Creek Incorporated.

The Community Centre incorporates a hall with kitchen and toilet facilities, the Splitters Creek Rural Fire Service sheds and acts as our Neighbourhood Safer Place in the event of a fire.

Our community facility is utilised for several monthly events such as playgroup (for children aged 0-5 years), Friday night social drinks, home grown produce swap meet, Landcare meetings and other community events /fundraisers.

The facility is also available for hire to residents and non-residents throughout the year. There is a full kitchen including 2 refrigerators, microwave, electric stove, zip water heater, cutlery and crockery for 100 people, 20 tables and 100 chairs, large outdoor undercover area, oval /outside grassed area, toilet and shower facilities (including disabled), BBQ and wood fire heating.

The Centre can be hired for day and night time activities. Day rates start at $50 for residents and evenings from $200 . A bond is also payable. For further details, please private message the page admin.
