Vivian Yung reports, “We beat Mongolia 4-1 and Germany 4-0 in the pool, then Great Britain 4-0 and Poland 4-1 in the round of 16 and quarterfinal respectively. We have Korean in the semifinals and gave them a good run, losing 2-0.... Final is on now between Japan and Korea. Commendation ceremony to follow straight after. Australia = 3rd in the world kendo championship.

Sports Focus Physiotherapy would like to wish all their patients, sporting clubs and friends a safe and happy Easter.

A recent post by David Sexton, a runner and patient of Sports Focus Physiotherapy, Castle Hill. David is the CEO of Variety Australia: the children's charity. David is raising awareness for Variety and has challenged himself to run the New York marathon. David has been a runner in the past but never tackled a marathon, so with the expertise if Kaitlyn Duursma, a physiotherapist at Sports Focus Physiotherapy who has a special interest in Running biomechanics, David has been able to develop a running/loading program and improve his efficiency so that he can prepare himself for this amazing challenge. We'll keep you up to date with his journey.

Well done to Vivian Yung, one of our Senior Physiotherapists who has been helping the Sydney Swifts netball team to get "core fit" by teaching specific Pilates exercises. Vivian commented, "I am so lucky to have the opportunity to work with the NSW Swifts netball team, thanks to Steve Naylor. These athletes are so motivated and fun to work with. I really hope that with all the good preparation pre-season, that the team will have great success in this years netball season." The Swifts also wished Vivian "Good Luck" in her upcoming World Kendo tournament, where Vivian will be representing Australia as Team Captain. Steve Naylor, Director at Sports Focus Physiotherapy has been appointed Physiotherapist for the Sydney Swifts for the 2018 season.

Very professional physiotherapists. Only negative is that it's not very private. People can hear your conversation as it's a very small practice and only curtains separating.
